2025

SUMMARY

The 8th International Baltic Sea Choir Competition was held from September 19 to 21, 2025 and had 8 choirs from 7 countries – mixed choirs: Academic Choir Tone Tomšič from the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), Cuore Chamber Choir (Ireland), Lempi Choir (Finland), New Dublin Voices Choir (Ireland), Choir of the University of Economics in Katowice (Poland) and female choirs: Academic Female Choir of Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia), Copenhagen Girls’ Choir (Denmark) and Good Hope School Choir (Hong Kong).

The author of the Compulsory piece “Song of Innocence” – Latvian composer Arturs Maskats.

The performance of the choirs was evaluated by a professional international jury consisting of Toh Ban Sheng (Singapore), Jani Sivén (Finland), Ingrid Kõrvits (Estonia), Krista Audere (Netherlands / Latvia) and Andris Sējāns (Latvia).

RESULTS 2025

95,67 points and the Winner of 8th International Baltic Sea Choir Competition who got Jurmala City GRAND PRIX trophy and monetary prize of 3500 Eur: Academic Choir Tone Tomšič from the University of Ljubljana / Slovenia. Conductor Rahela Durič
