SUMMARY
In the 2nd International Baltic Sea Choir Competition 12 choirs from 8 countries participated: mixed choir NEW DUBLIN VOICES from Ireland, mixed choir GREX MUSICUS from Finland, girls’ choir of KOPER music school and mixed choir CRESCENDO from Slovenia, male choir SVANHOLM SINGERS and mixed choir HARLANDA CHAMBER CHOIR from Sweden, mixed choir VOX IUVENALIS from the Czech Republic, mixed choir HARMONY from Russia, MIXED CHOIR OF TARTU STUDENTS from Estonia, as well as three participants from Latvia – mixed choir AUSTRUMS, EMĪLS DĀRZIŅŠ MIXED CHOIR and male choir of Art Museum RĪGAS BIRŽA from Latvia.
The compulsory piece “Lux aeterna” was composed by Ēriks Ešenvalds.
Grand Prix winner of the 2nd International Baltic Choir Competition was mixed choir NEW DUBLIN VOICES from Ireland (conductor Bernie Sherlock).
Chairman of the jury was Brady Allred (USA) and jury members were Ambrož Čopi (Slovenia), Rolandas Daugėla (Lithuania), Triin Koch (Estonia) and Rihards Dubra (Latvia).
Special guests of the Closing concert – vocal group Framest.

95,33 points – the Winner of 2nd International Baltic Sea Choir Competition who got Jurmala City GRAND PRIX trophy and Latvijas valsts meži monetary prize of 3500 Eur: NEW DUBLIN VOICES (Ireland), conductor Bernie Sherlock
95,00 points – 2nd place and monetary prize of 2000 Eur: Girls Choir of the Koper Music school (Slovenia), conductor Maja Cilenšek
