Dzintari Concert Hall
The home of the International Baltic Sea Choir Competition is Dzintari Concert Hall, which has been the central concert venue in Jurmala since the end of the 19th century. Dzintari concert hall is a pearl of nature and architecture on the coast of the Baltic Sea. The historical building of the Dzintari Concert Hall, which is inscribed in the cultural canon of Latvia, was built in 1936 and is an example of neoclassical architecture with features of national romanticism.
The International Baltic Sea Choir Competition takes place in the elegant Small Hall, which has around 500 seats. The acoustics of the Small Hall are excellent for performing chamber music and choral music.
