Choir “Sōla” of the Latvian Academy of Culture (founded in 1998) is approved one of the leading mixed choirs in Latvia. As of 2004 the choir’s artistic director is Kaspars Ādamsons, presently working together with conductors Artūrs Oskars Mitrevics and Jurģis Rāts, vocal coach Rihards Millers. 

“Sōla” creative biography includes programmes of various genres and styles, as well as cooperation with other groups of performers in diverse musical projects. “Sōla” regularly takes part in choir competitions and choral music festivals both in Latvia and abroad, thus promoting Latvian choir music traditions beyond the country’s borders.
